Prefeita Valdice Castro sanciona lei que cria o Dia do Reservista em Jacobina
A prefeita Valdice Castro sancionou a Lei nº 2.138, de abril de 2026, que institui oficialmente o Dia do Reservista no município de Jacobina. A data será celebrada anualmente em 16 de dezembro e passa a integrar o calendário oficial da cidade, como forma de reconhecimento aos cidadãos que serviram às Forças Armadas.
A iniciativa foi comemorada pela Associação de Praças e Veteranos do Exército Brasileiro (APVO), representada pelo presidente Antônio Carlos Alves e pelo vice-presidente Edilson dos Santos Alves. A entidade destacou a importância da conquista para valorizar o compromisso, a disciplina e o patriotismo dos reservistas, além de agradecer o apoio de lideranças locais que contribuíram para a aprovação da lei.
A prefeita Valdice Castro ressaltou o significado da sanção. “Essa lei representa um gesto de reconhecimento e gratidão a todos os reservistas que contribuíram com a defesa do nosso país. Instituir essa data é valorizar a história, o compromisso e o amor à pátria dessas pessoas. Seguiremos apoiando iniciativas que reforcem o respeito e a importância desses cidadãos para a nossa sociedade”, afirmou.
